His mythical Abe Lincoln story in the middle of his speech -- about how his
mother couldn't afford to send him to the schools that the American children
went to (odd, that, considering his step father at the time had a lucrative
job working for Mobile Oil, and ostensibly he's an American) so she had to
give him private lessons at 4:30 in the AM -- was for me the most amusing
bit.

There is no way it's true. His 'typical white person' grandmother was loaded
and paid for his college.

I did think his point about not feeling like he fit in rang true. I contend
he's got some deep seated hatred for both of his parents -- especially his
mother, considering he let her die of cancer without going to see her -- and
ultimately his identity is something of a rabbit hole to him.

I see the Obama that gives this Reaganesque speech (after passing along
cliff notes that read like a Pyongyang dispatch), and then I wonder how it
could be the same Obama that hangs out with Ayers, Wright, Rashidi, and then
goes on to hire certifiable whackos like Van Jones, Susstein, Lloyd,
Browner, and others, and seems to have hit it off marvelously with Hugo
Chavez.

There is something very troubling about his psyche.
