Check it out, but I think Venezuela is a republic too. And FYI my country is a republic and that did not stop the rise of Peron to some kind of dictatorship in the 40's. What's worse, instead of trying to beat him through institutions, constitution and democratic elections he was overthrown by a military coup which led to a series of coups until his second wife was deposed by our infamous "Junta" and that finally got us 60,000 "missing" people and one of the worst real dictatorships (supported by your country BTW). So that's why I dislike the oh so liberal use of the word tyrant.

No wonder it will come back sooner or later. The murderers and torturers you train and let loose on the world sooner or later will end up living in your country, they'll be your neighbours, not nice by my standards to have a torturer next to my home. And when these people are authorized to supervise and help in coups in other countries.... what makes you think they will not be tempted to do the same thing in yours? Same thing goes for economic mayhem. Having said that, I don't think your president aspires to be a tyrant (any more than any other president does). --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
