I find that MDs will be honest about what is going on if they are
asked, and they have the time.  To ask about the complex issue of
Swine Flu is not a 2 second response, neither is the discussion around
health care today.

Today everyone EXPECTS to get a prescription and that medicine or
"compound" will quickly change the current status of the patient.
Instead of listening to the Dr that your body needs rest and TIME we
instead demand the quick fix.

If the flu shot keeps you from getting the flu then you win.  It only
is a tiny dose giving your immune system a heads up on making the code
for your platelets or white blood cells where ever it is stored.

Over the past 10 years I am probably 33.333 % in getting it, or I was
at a place where they were offering flu shots.  The convenience of
doing it there I did.  Making an appointment to see a Dr. to get it I
won't normally do.
