I don't support any effort at anything less than a faithful translation of
Scripture from the original language, conveying as much of the original
poetry, meaning and idioms of the native tongue.

I learned Greek so I could understand the New Testament (though I'm sure one
day we'll find the Hebrew originals), and I'm learning Hebrew so I can read
the original Tanach. I don't trust any translations .. many of them do
indeed slip translator's biases (most of them cultural not political) into
the translation.

Truth be told, neither capitalism nor socialism/communism are "endorsed" by
Scripture.
