It shouldn't be using the ODBC connection. It should use the ADO which does support it.
-----Original Message----- From: MB Software Solutions General Account Sent: Monday, October 19, 2009 3:35 PM Our app is VFP9SP1. It's a classic app from the early-mid 90s. I was thinking about adding a BINARY index to a logical/boolean field in some of our tables and wondered if that would cause problems for the DotNet (3.x) app that uses ODBC to interact with our database. Ideas? Obviously I'm trying to find out now instead of later when the shit would hit the fan. ;-) tia! --Mike Mike Babcock, MCP MB Software Solutions, LLC President, Chief Software Architect http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com http://fabmate.com http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/001b01ca510b$746d9830$5d48c8...@com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
