Hi Everybody, I got back a nickel in my change somewhere that someone had stained or even anodized to the color of a penny. Since I am retired with little to do I cleaned it up after I noticed it, which wasn't easy. Finally used a 3500 rpm wire wheel after first trying soap, paint thinner, lacquer thinner, sandpaper and toothpaste.
Buy why would anyone do that to begin with? In addition to the work involved, the coin is now worth less? -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
