Hi Everybody, http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601103&sid=aTtREvJnEK4w
"The bill has no Republican support, and some Democrats object to both the cost and the idea that federal dollars might help undocumented immigrants buy insurance. The head of a group of 82 Democrats complained that the government insurance plan was too weak. And about 40 other House Democrats are concerned that government money might be used to pay for abortions. “Is it settled? No. Close? Yes,” said South Carolina Representative James Clyburn, who counts votes for Democrats." Well, the article doesn't say the two authors actually read the bill. Don't see how they could in 15 hours, even if they divided the work and each only read half. They are just reporting the gossip about it. It may be that *nobody* has read this bill. I myself am only on page 10, doubt that I will get through it by Monday, or ever. 1990 pages is a lot. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
