Hi Stephen Have look at www.report-sculptor.com
You can do this kind of complex reports in pure fox. One of the samples there shows simillar report (Multipage Tax Form) which is done as native foxpro page frame. You can have user fill it up and print it in WYSIWYG mode. Unlike CR , RS cost just $ 0.00 RS have it's forum Cheers :) Sergio -----Original Message----- From: Stephen Russell [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, November 06, 2009 9:06 PM To: ProFox Email List Subject: Re: [NF] A Crystal Reports FORUM Like THIS? What more do you need? :) ----------------- Crystal is very good at what it does. Making it happen is the problem. Making a change to a table that you have to bring in a replacement one is my biggest reason to get pissy with Crystal. Having dated systems like I do for Tax Reporting for International Paper, Crystal just drives me up the wall! But it is what they want, and it is something that I know. They keep the data by tax year in views from the Oracle system. They make a copy of every report for the new Tax year to keep everything separate with respect to tax law changes. Switching the new view for the old one is not pleasant. Now do that to maybe 75+ - reports. But it does pay off bills. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer SQL Server DBA Web and Winform Development Independent Contractor Memphis TN 901.246-0159 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
