Your delays could be on any number of servers along the 15 to 30 hops the email may travel, as it makes it way to Ed's new cloud server. Have you tried setting up other email client on other servers, like the gmail servers or AOL AIM servers, that allow free email accounts, and have built in email clients. You might give it a try by setting up such accounts and you would need to register the new accounts on Ed's mailman program. This might help to to better localized the problem. http://leafe.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo The emails are not being bounced back to you or silently dropped, and seem to eventually find there way to the email address destination, so I wouldn't think Ed's server is holding them up. Some servers along the path to Ed server may be having problems or are down. The email server your using to send the emails is probably programmed to re-send emails for a number of days before bouncing them back to you as undelivered, or silently dropping them, or some servers along the many hops to the destination, may be refusing the relay, perhaps thinking your email is spam or something. After all, you do embed much political spam in your emails such as trying to sell "Birthers" conspiracy.
