http://bit.ly/2mpayT - - - Here's a stimulus success story: In Arizona's 15th congressional district, 30 jobs have been saved or created with just $761,420 in federal stimulus spending. At least that's what the Web site set up by the Obama administration to track the $787 billion stimulus says.
There's one problem, though: There is no 15th congressional district in Arizona; the state has only eight districts. And ABC News has found many more entries for projects like this in places that are incorrectly identified. - - - The greatest act of generational theft in American history---the "Stimulus" bill of 2009 and related TARP handouts---is soon to be outdone by an even bigger, more expensive, less efficient, and in fact tyrannical legislative boondoggle, this one patently unconstitutional---the health care bill. Hopefully, the citizenry will put a stop to this insanity at the earliest electoral opportunity. - Publius "It ought never to be forgotten, that a firm union of this country, under an efficient government, will probably be an increasing object of jealousy to more than one nation of Europe; and that enterprises to subvert it will sometimes originate in the intrigues of foreign powers, and will seldom fail to be patronized and abetted by some of them. Its preservation, therefore ought in no case that can be avoided, to be committed to the guardianship of any but those whose situation will uniformly beget an immediate interest in the faithful and vigilant performance of the trust."
