Hi Stephen. Oh, no, you are wrong. The official line is that there is no inflation. If there were inflation the Social Security people would get a cola increase, and they didn't this year so, you see, there is no inflation.. The way they figure it is with a "market basket" analysis. Since they are congresspersons and high level government employees the basket naturally is composed of things they are familiar with. For example, last year a really nice mansion could be had for $40 million and sure enough, this year you can still get a really nice mansion for $40 million so, you see, there is no inflation. Last year you could get a nice yacht for $5 million and this year you can still get a nice yacht for $5 million so, you see, there is no inflation. Last year you could get a nice SUV for $75 thousand and this year you can still get a nice SUV for $75 thousand so, you see, there is no inflation. Last year you could get a nice - but you get the idea. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
