AP devoted 11 -- yes, 11 -- crack journalists to "fact checking" it.

They devoted precisely ZERO to investigating obvious parallels and
shockingly similar passages shared between Obama's "Dream from My
Father" and Bill Ayers' "Fugitive Days," first unearthed by Jack
Cashill, even after a mainstream biographer, Christopher Andersen,
wrote six pages in a book about Barack and Michele to the FACT that
Ayers was asked to help bail Obama out from a literary deadline he was
unable to meet.

The myth that Obama wrote the book himself, and hardly knew Ayers,
persists despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

As if facts matter to these people.
