Of course, I can understand the mayor wanting to keep all the conference action for herself. What I can't understand is the choice of time and venue for the climate summit. They do this every year sometime and somewhere where everyone is freezing to death. Don't they have conference centers in, say, Johannesburg? Or, if it has to be in Copenhagen or some equally North locale, isn't Copenhagen or some Northern city open for business in, oh, June or July? I mean, their big lie is that the world is "getting warmer", why contradict it themselves? "We are all here (shiver) to convince everyone with money that the world is getting unacceptably warm (shiver) and to remedy this we need billions and billions in donations to support 'research'", hardie har har. Oh, by the way, don't any of you guys warm yourselves up in unsustainable ways, now.
