*If* this keeps up for a hundred years we are looking at, what, 2 inches? Never mind that the normal tidal range in some places is 20 feet. Around here it is between 2 and 3 feet. Of course, it couldn't cycle up and down every three years, if it could there would be no scare story, and there can't be no scare story.
