I changed nothing. What are you talking about?

Yeah, and we all know winning a war against terrorist masterminds just
isn't worth it, no matter how careful and precise the targeting of
those individuals.
Hey, why don't we offer them a place at the political table instead?
Obviously, that will make them all friendly and disposed not to plot
anymore attacks, for sure.

Don't want to upset any radicals in high places, now do we?
(And I'm not just talking about Obama there...)

Yawn. They've also been encouraged by the great wonders of the

like great victories ("jobs saved or created" is positive no matter
how many millions of jobs the economy sheds...). Easily excited, that
lot.

I take it to mean he's not willing to make sure the job gets done
right, and is quite happy if the Taliban survives as a political force
in the region.

Well the doves didn't like the more traditional approach of carpet
bombing till either nothing moves or what's left surrenders, so here
we are, left to send building inspectors in and announce our
intentions before "surprise" finger-prick attacks.
