I know Penny is way to heavy, and I've been advised by Big Country Veterinary clinic to weight penny and then limit her to the portion recommended on the label of the dog food package. I feed Penny and all my other critters, (eg 4 cats and 2 dogs), Iam mini bits which is premium stuff. My wife also has a lage bow of cat food that is automatically dispensed as needed. Penny really get excited around lunch time, and I usually fix her and Anna, (eg my wife's Rat Terrier), a blow of whatever we are having for lunch. Today it was a baked Chicken, yesterday pork chops, or if there isn't enough for both the wife and I and the boys, I'll split a 12 Oz can of Chicken of the Sea Tuna for them and then feed them a little bit off my plate. Anyway, Penny definitely need to go on a diet. Penny is three years old, spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and registered.
