BTW, some other nuggets in the bill: * The must-buy-insurance "mandate" exempts people experiencing "financial hardship." THis sounds great, but is this not the very people who can't afford insurance to begin with? Just WTF is the point then?
* The bill makes everyone pay a fee to cover abortions via their premiums. This is a matter of some consternation even to conservative Dems, who are being pressured to stay mum about it. It's only purpose is to wreck the health care system entirely, and set all kinds of precedents that will reduce our Bill of Rights to so much toilet paper, so that there will be clamor for a new system of government altogether---not merely a new health care system. - Publius On Tue, Dec 22, 2009 at 9:19 PM, Publius Maximus <[email protected]> wrote: > On Tue, Dec 22, 2009 at 9:12 PM, Geoff <[email protected]> wrote: >> And u think that has a snowflakes chance in hell of surviving a >> constitutional challenge?
