Hey Michael!  I still use Mac Rubel's code and decode methods from the 
old DOS days (Mac, if you are reading this I purchased your framework. 
;^)  ).  They work fine and in my applications there is no truly 
sensitive data so it works for me.

If I was storing personal data such as social security numbers or credit 
information, I would take a different route.
