Have you tried AT_C()?

I have a client that is copying text from Word (and other sources) into a
memo field for publishing on the web. He's wanting to do some replacements
on the contents of the memo field but the special characters are preventing
"AT()" and "$" from successfully searching the memo field.

Does anyone have a snippet that will STRTRAN() these special characters to
something more VFP friendly?

He has special characters for "..." which comes over from Word as a single
character. "(TM)" is another. The special quotes that I call "directional
quotes" that come over from Word. There are other examples but I think you
get the idea.

Thanks ahead of time!
