Have you tried AT_C()? -----Original Message----- From: Kevin Cully Sent: Monday, January 25, 2010 10:16 AM
I have a client that is copying text from Word (and other sources) into a memo field for publishing on the web. He's wanting to do some replacements on the contents of the memo field but the special characters are preventing "AT()" and "$" from successfully searching the memo field. Does anyone have a snippet that will STRTRAN() these special characters to something more VFP friendly? He has special characters for "..." which comes over from Word as a single character. "(TM)" is another. The special quotes that I call "directional quotes" that come over from Word. There are other examples but I think you get the idea. Thanks ahead of time! -Kevin _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/000601ca9dd4$12a37410$37ea5c...@com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
