Mike,
Basically the same but:
1. Tab to the application with ALT/Tab
2. Press ALT/SpaceBar
3. Press DOWN ARROW Twice
4. Press RETURN

Now use the right arrow to make the window narrower then drag it back to 0,0
And the same with the up/down arrow to make the window shorter.

In fact you can do all this with the mouse, if you can see the title bar
then right click on it and select the size option. Then move the mouse
cursor over the top  or left margin and when it changes shape, drag to
resize, then re-centre the window to 0,0 by dragging the titlebar and repeat
until you can see the whole window.

Alternately delete foxuser files because I think that the window locations
are held here - but not 100% certain as they may well be in the registry.

Is this what you meant, or am I being really stupid here?

Thanks for the reply, Dave.  What about when VFP starts the window just 
fine in the top/left (0,0) but thinks the width and height are twice (or 
beyond) the physical Monitor1 dimensions?  Do you have a neat tip for 
getting that adjusted as well?
