        The battery is the least of your worries. If a car sits without being 
run regularly, the oil drains to the bottom, and the various seals around the 
engine parts can dry out and crack; if that happens, the car will always leak 
oil terribly and its MUCH more expensive to fix than a new battery will ever 
cost.
