Malcolm,
If it is like the iPhone then it is really irrelevant as the whole page is
rendered and sized accordingly, hence the ability to "pinch zoom". The
OS/Safari browser will size the web page to automatically fit the screen
real estate available.

Subject: [NF] Approx size of the display area available in an iPad
Safaribrowser?

How much space is available in an iPad Safari window for the
actual display of a web page? By actual display I mean, minus any
iPad and Safari "chrome" such as borders, titlebars, menus,
toolbars, statusbars, scrollbars, etc.

My assumption is that the space available for iPad web page
content should remain relatively static over time, subject to
changes in Safari.

I've been googling this question without success. My google-fu is
usually pretty strong, but I'm not strong in the area of Apple
technology so my search terms may be to blame.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Malcolm
