Mike, I don't have Win/7 to test with, so just some guesses
Do have any code references whatsoever (such as using macro substitution instead of a name expression when referencing a FQFN) that could be choking on spaces in file names (or has that issue already been resolved by prior use of "ms software solutions" as a folder name)? Does your install include any registry changes or Windows system components at all that may have existed on prior target XP machine transfers that haven't been made on this machine? Any other dependencies that may not exist on the Win 7 machine? What's the exact failure message? On this machine, it's now running from > c:\program > files (x86)\mb software solutions folder. Should he not used that > folder? I thought that "x86" folder was the place for 32-bit apps. > > Please advise...tia! > > -- > Mike Babcock, MCP > MB Software Solutions, LLC > President, Chief Software Architect > http://mbsoftwaresolutions.com > http://fabmate.com > http://twitter.com/mbabcock16 > [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/bacbd735f33448d2b4f6ca48ccb8e...@bills ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
