We use http://www.ads-ids.com they are using http://www.goglobal.com to provide a solution. It's similar to a Linux x-windows solution, more than it is Terminal Services. Clients can be running Mac, Linux and Windows platforms. The VFP application runs on a Windows Server. Printing uses a PDF solution. The PDF is created on the server, transferred to the client, then printed by the local machine to a printer of their choice. Mac OS's have had problems with the default PDF viewer installed. Installing and setting the Adobe viewer as default fixes that, though.

Any caveats around printing and the like ? -- Alan Bourke alanpbourke (at) fastmail (dot) fm _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/000701caa8cd$b1ca07d0$155e17...@com ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
