In Firefox, and probably most other browsers, type "Whois 8k.com"  It 
pulls up a hit right away with contact info in Renton, WA.  Don't do 
fayart.8k.com.  I think that when you have a url like that, it's only 
the part before the .com that is the actual domain. But I'm not an 
expert, so could be wrong.
