Anyone have any experience using PostgreSQL's fulltext search capabilities?
In particular, how easy is it to control the min word length for what qualifies as a searchable word? In MySQL you can control this setting via the my.ini file entry "ft_min_len = 3". Does PostgreSQL have a similar capability and is it possible to change this behavior on a database by database basis without having to edit a a configuration file entry that requires a restart of the database to be recognized? A secondary question for our Python readers: What PostgreSQL Python module do you recommend for Python 2.5/2.6 dual Linux/Windows use? Here's the official(?) list of options to choose from: http://wiki.python.org/moin/PostgreSQL Thanks!
