Lets consider another option.

Suppose there would have been no subprime mortgage crisis.
Suppose that what really caused the subprime mortgage crisis was 10 to
20 million jobs that have been sent offshore which forced people that
were barely, but making it to lose their houses, which then dominoed
into the investment bankers purchasing mortgages, etc. in baskets with
total disregard for the particulars of each property.

I know that many people buy into the corporate lie of we need to be able
to compete with china, india, etc...., but at the same time, think of
how many of your friends are out of work, or how many mom and pop
businesses have been shut down because they can't buy merchandise for
what walmart, lowes, home depot, etc. can sell them for.

All of us work with data, and the only way to get to the bottom is to
demand that the securities and exchange commission mandate that all
publicly traded corporations must disclose how many jobs they are paying
for offshore and here in the states and furthermore that they must go
back and amend their prior annual and quarterly financial reports to
2007 when the GDP figures prove that our corporations had quit investing
in business in america..
