If it's a right click shortcut on the form or a control on the form, it shouldn't matter, does it? As soon as you attempt to click on the form it's the ActiveForm. The only issue I've ever seen with this is if your form has an ActiveX on it. Sometimes that can show as the ActiveForm, not the VFP form. Fred
Turns out setting up a right click in a grid (or better to say a textbox within a grid) while the form isn't the active form does not necessarily make that form active when rightclicked.
