yep, thats what people do not realize this time.
they are using historical things that have happened in the past and 
making the assumptions that they will happen in the future.
problem is, one thing has changed and that is that the corporations are 
either moving jobs offshore, or laying off and not rehiring.

that changes the equation and to base your future plans on the old 
things happening in the future is going to get a lot of people in a lot 
of financial trouble.

Basically it shows how if you take the gdp of the top 5 countries and 
divide it by their population you come up with what I consider their 
buying potential, or earnings potential.
then if you take these 5 numbers, total them up and divide by 5 you get 
a figure where they will stabilize at with all of these countries 
sending their jobs offshore to the cheapest bidder.

Basically America is at about 46,000
America will end up at 24,200

If this is true, do you still think you will be able to afford the 
mortgage on that 200 - 500,000 house?
