Hi Gerard,

Because Al Gore invented the Internet. *Believe* in Al Gore.

Actually, the theory is that a lot of the ice that is supposedly melting 
is on land and the water from its melting flows into the sea. But, a few 
years ago the trend changed and now the earth is cooling. This, and the 
economy, is very bad for grant funding of the "settled science" of 
"Global Warming".

So whenever a straw comes along it is fervently clutched no matter how 
ridiculous. But the new buzzword is "Climate Change", now that the 
temperatures are actually colder.

OK, they need to make a living, and they aren't into real work - there 
isn't any anymore anyway. Do they need to personally attack every 
scientist who thinks differently than they do to the point of ruining 
their careers if possible? Evidently.
