Currently working on a web service that also uses .NET and the only thing that has worked so far is using Westwind's Web Service Proxy generator cause it "converts" complex data types so VFP can handle them. Check it out at http://www.west-wind.com/wsdlgenerator. You can try it out as a demo, you'll see is easier than trying to manually do raw XML.
Also if you want to run the service locally, check out soapUI it's a nice tool that somebody on the list told me recently http://www.soapui.org/. This has helped a lot. Hope that helps. AiR Aida I.
