SCO FoxBase was pretty amazing.  We had one system that ran on a 486-33Mhz
with 16MB of ram that had 25 users on terminals (varying speeds from 2400 to
19200, depending on distance) and all ran very smoothly.  I think the
minimum setting for ram allocation could be squeezed down to 40K, but things
ran very smoothly if we gave each user 128K.

FoxPro for Unix required 1MB to run at all, but it beat the socks off SCO
FoxBase for indexing large tables.
