I read a deal awhile back. Don't remember who wrote it, but I believe it was Chuck Baldwin and he stated that most that are around now have never seen a day without a super walmart type conglomerate. One lady he even cited said food would appear via trucks even if our food supply was devastated.
Its hard to believe that they don't understand that a seed must be planted for vegetables and something must be killed for meat. But I kind of understand why they're that naeieve. After all, when I was about 15, I was jury rigging a antenna in a valley so I could watch black and white tv, one or two channels. That was only about 37 years ago. People like myself that live within a 100 miles of a city think they are safe, but they don't realize what millions of hungry people would do to their vegetable garden and chicken coop if they realized their was food there, and with nary a thought of preserving some of it so that you could grow or raise some more to replace what they consumed.
