A guy brought me in a kawasaki bayou 400 atv yesterday that he had been
riding and his problem is that it leaks gas.
yes it does and I ordered the part today, but I'm sure wondering why
anybody would ride something where gas is leaking on a hot motor between
their legs???

They also brought in an ez-go golf cart with some obviously burned
battery terminals.
Having never worked on one I decided to draw on a piece of paper the
battery locations and terminal locations and how the wires went

Four of the batteries go negative to positive and then when I get to the
ones with the burned cables, I find that they are reversed.

been a long time since I've thought about electricity but thats
basically like putting 4 batteries in series (probably 48 volts) against
two batteries in series (probably 24 volts)

Needless to say there are some burnt cables and maybe two, possibly all
batteries that will need to be replaced.

Luckily I just found a wiring diagram using google.

Now to come up with the money to buy the parts.
Oops, thats going to be a lot of money.
I think i better tell them that they need to buy the parts this time around.
