I've not used DeltaCopy, but I use rsync all the time. Given that DeltaCopy is just a wrapper around rsync, I can recommend it. I back up around 30 Gb of data in around 80,000 files each night from my laptop to my server, and from my server to my laptop. My laptop is in my house, and the server is in a data center about 350 miles away. It usually only takes around 10 minutes.
