main street is virtually devastated from all of the stuff I'm seeing, 
yet the bailed out bankers and other bankers state that everything is 
coming up rosy and talking about how company sales are increasing.

What they don't see is that 75% of americans make less then 50,000 per 
year which means they have virtually no discretionary income and they 
only account for 2 trillion of all wages

On the other hand 25% of americans make more then the 50,000 per year 
and they account for nearly 6 trillion of all wages, so of course sales 
can still go up.

But imagine how much more they could go up if the 75% of americans had 
discretionary income.like they used too.
