Generally, atheists are intelligent. They just have one stupid idea that defeats them, perhaps for all eternity, the notion that there is no God. Who says "there is no God"? Some "free-thinker" or another who puts forth a "philosophical" argument at best - which seldom agrees with the others, because there is not a shred of scientific proof one way or another, nor can there be. Georges LeMaitre was a Catholic Priest! *He* proposed the "Big Bang" theory, without the slightest hint that it in any way discredited God.
