Hi Virgil, That might be the biggest sore spot of all - motor fuel. It was 30 cents or less per gallon for 30 years, but suddenly all the Arabs had to be trillionaires, so it had to go up, and we pay for it (plus) at the pump. This is really what World War III is all about - the evil West paying "too little" for oil. The various oil countries were distributing the oil money like manna from heaven in the past, something like Alaska. In Saudi Arabia hardly anyone worked for many years unless they were a foreigner if I recall correctly. However, in such an environment people bred like rabbits because each person meant another share, and as the population rose the value of each share was reduced. The local pols blamed that on the Great Satan America rather than try to teach basic math. So, when there is a pinch in the family budget, the US is to blame. No one over there ever says any different that I know of. Recently, there has been an effort to teach people to work, but the whole area is used to outsiders doing all the schlepping. In a way, you can hardly blame them, it was their leadership. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ http://elect-pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
