If you were ever in the arts, putting out any product, there was a critique about it. From performance in music or stage, sculpture or painting, dance, comedy or film if you never took part in the critique you missed a lot. How to listen to others talk honestly about your work. If you never hear the hard truth your ego over inflates. You need to learn to listen and not to protect yourself back to not learning anything. The more I get back into design the more stuff like this I find. I like to be able to come up with two positive points as well as at least one negative on when I view just about anything.
