I had SR 1. Upgrading to SR 2 in Windows 7 was interesting; the
installation failed because it thought the installed versions of the Tahoma
fonts on that OS were older than those in the patch even though it bypassed
some other fonts because they were newer. (The SR 2 installation on Windows
XP also bypasses the Tahoma font upgrades because it correctly recognizes
that Tahoma is newer.) Anyway, Windows 7 wouldn't let it write new fonts to
the font folder (not even when running in XP or 2000 mode and "as
administrator"), so the entire installation aborted and rolled itself back.
Once I copied the Tahoma fonts from XP to 7 and installed them, the SR 2
install worked.

However, SR 2 doesn't fix my automation problem in either XP or 7.

On Friday I saw some other folks had suggestions, but I didn't forward them
to my work email so I'll look at those again tonight.

Thanks.
