I worked on a project where we purchased a Comodo code signing cert for $75 ($~180 for 3 years). https://author.tucows.com/index.php?action=auth&redirect=certs.php I think(?) recently saw a special promotion between Microsoft and Verisign for $49 certs (retail $495).
