Today's readings Ed. There is hope for you. ;-> Piety is a gift from God. Was Jesus commenting on the people of his day who were asking God for more then what they deserved? Were those people putting these wishes ahead of loving God? When we ask for too much from God do we get grace and mercy in return? Do we realize that we received it or are we so focused on our demands that we miss the picture all together? When we say the Lords prayer do we intensify one phrase and toss off the next because it is not about us? and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, I don't care what your belief system is. When you can show respect to others like that you are a powerful person. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer CIMSgts 901.246-0159 cell _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[email protected] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
