Funny, I thought that under your legal system it would be enough to prove (easy) that there is no guarantee that you wrote the mails. I mean, there is the possibility that someone hacked your box and wrote the mails himself. And as the mails have no public key system there is no way to guarantee that the person who answers is who he says he is. They would have to prove you were at your machine at exactly the given time, that there was no malicious software hacking your mail, that the recipient was at his machine, and finally they would have to get hold of both machines and prove the mails came actually from them.
