I think I've got it. You gave me the seed for the solution. SOLUTION: I had to open my menu up and manually choose the menu choice of MENU/GENERATE.
I was starting to create a new menu, but it didn't automatically generate the MyMenu.mpr file like I thought it would. I had to go back in and choose the MENU/GENERATE option. Hmmm. Perhaps VFP9 isn't recreating this system's menu the way I thought it would either. I chose the Generate option and tested it and ... it works!
