The only thing in the Destroy is what I mentioned before - in regards to setting some spellcheck object to NULL.
My main screen is just a simple Form - not a class. However, all the Spell Check stuff IS classes based! The Coverage Profiler does look like a good option to explore. I just can't really do it at the moment. Am trying to wrap up a bunch of stuff before end of day - since I am leaving tomorrow to attend a big Graphics conference in LA - and I won't be here at work next week. Yeah - I agree - a lot of GREAT responses to my problem today! I think the stuff Jack mentioned may possibly solve my slow shut down problem. I just haven't been able to implement all his suggestions yet. And, I think it may ALSO hint at the slow opening as well. Maybe I should connect the DBF's to the Grids and ComboBoxes at RunTime - instead of at Design time. I just have to get to it... -K- -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Malcolm Greene Sent: Friday, July 23, 2010 4:21 PM Kurt, 1. What's in your Destroy method? 2. Are your forms inherited from another form class? 3. I really like Rick's suggestion to use the Coverage Profiler to isolate the problem. (This is where I would spend my time). I know its yet another tool to learn, but its also a good tool to learn as well, eg. I think this effort will pay dividends for you in the future. Lots of other great ideas in this thread. I'm very impressed.
