Hi Everybody, Well, they haven't torn down all the houses. Some neighborhoods are empty of all buildings except the catholic churches - maintained by the archdiocese, however.
My high school has been torn down. My grade school has been sold. The kindergarten I went to is boarded up. The house we lived in until I was five is now a vacant lot. In spite of my misgivings after the Travelocity lies, overcharges and misdirections, the actual flights were fine. And even with the fraudulent padding it cost less than the bike ride would have factoring in the cost of motels and camping. Only managed to connect with one classmate, and another guy who went to the same schools a few years earlier. Everyone else has vanished from sight. My sister is in the auto repo business. If there is a good reason to find someone she can probably do it, but she was too busy. Had I not stayed in touch with her, I wouldn't have known anybody.
