Too bad I can't see that website link - since I am blocked here at work (Barracuda claims it's a Forum or Newsgroup).
However - I wouldn't be surprised by an article like this involved Autodesk. Years ago - on a webboard dedicated to 3DS Max users - there were MANY discussions about this - where people wanted to sell the SW they bought. For instance, if they were going out of business. Autodesk essentially claimed that they couldn't do it - unless they were selling the Whole business to someone - and then the SW license could be transferred. They were ALWAYS a big stickler about this. Even when people tried to sell their Max license on Craigslist - Autodesk would go out of the way to try and shut down the sale! :-) -K- -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Stephen Russell Sent: Monday, September 13, 2010 4:07 PM <http://www.channelregister.co.uk/2010/09/13/autodesk_software_sale_rest riction_ruling/> Interesting read. -- Stephen Russell _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/289ea162f5642645b5cf64d624c66a14071a1...@us-ny-mail-002.waitex.net ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
