Suppose we have the Navy build the biggest ocean going barge the world has ever known, build a nuke plant on it. Do this as though it were the day after Pearl Harbor, no f*cking around. Tie the nuke barge up in some port where there is easy access to the national grid, hook it up and throw the switch? We need the power for national defense and disaster preparedness. The port is already approved for haz mat, put out a help wanted sign and a whole lot of people will appreciate *that*. As for the whiners? Send them to Al Gore.
