Thanks! Your method is what I 'normally' do but this is a quick report where I 
have not spent lots of time on it building other support forms.
What I did was set a variable before the report form command and in the report 
I change its value when it is run. So if cancel were selected the method 
returns and obviously no report is printed as the variable does not change. It 
is probably not the best way but it works and I can move on with these ad hoc 
requests that I am flooded with when the season is beginning. Training camp 
started yesterday.

I don't know if this will help, but I have never used the prompt in the
printer string.  I always know where the job is going with either a
parameter of the printer name or I put up a selection form where you can
choose "Preview" or "Printer" and you can also change the printer at
that point.
