Hi Mike If you mean the apostrophe in DB_loc'n.dbf that was first done in a Foxpro 2.6 app I wrote years ago. The IT people asked for it for some obscure reason. I did think of that but I am getting the same problem of VFP not being able to find things like VfpExMapi.dll when its hidden or System.
